New here and 2 new snakes!

My name is Amber and I received my first 2 ball pythons last night . I am a tad worried though as they are only a few weeks old(trying to get hatch date, got them from a friend who's friend breeds them and had him pick them up for me) they have only eaten once and have not pooed yet. Ive read babies can be a pain to get to eat(now realizing I should have tried for some that where older maybe?) I tried feeding them hoppers last night but they both stuck there nose in the air like*get that outa my face*. I know they could be stressed from the move though.

Young BPs can be a challange sometimes, but I'm sure it's nothing that can't be corrected.

When young BPs don't eat, the cause is often husbandry related. If you'll describe your set up, we might be able to pinpoint a problem. A picture would be even better.

Welcome, it sounds like they are a little stressed out, since you just got them last night, but as suggested read over the information, and update with the info requested. most generally wont offer food the same day, but will wait at least a week to try feeding new snakes regardless of age.

At the moment there in a 6qt tub(there own 6qt tub btw) with paper towel, a hide, and a water dish. room temp is about 78 and heat cable(like a uth) on warm side. I was thinking about setting up 2 10 gallons but wasnt sure if it was too big for them right now or not

Second... Stick with tubs! Tanks blow.

Let them settle in for 3 or 4 days and try small live mice. That usually gets hatchlings prey drive going. Once they get eating reliably you can get them switched to F/T if that is what you prefer.

Yup stick with tubs or look into PVC enclosures, or a rack system. Tanks are not the way to go with bps.

I have hoppers(not sure how long they will last without mommas milk though lol) ill let them settle a few days before trying to feed again And I guess I will be sticking to tubs! lol. Thanks so much for the info!

Hoppers should be almost weaned. I would offer them some damp rodent block or dog food. That should sustain them for a couple days until you try feeding them off again.
