I just wash my hands with soap and water before and after.

ps. Are you talking about handling your new snakes? I just got my first ball python as well and was told I should wait at least 2 weeks to handle unless its to clean the cage or maintenance.

Just wanted to make sure you dont stress out our new balls

I wash my hands with soap and water before and after handling. If I am going to be handling more than one snake, then I will use hand sanitizer between each handling session...

I have the industrial Sam's Club size hand sanitizer sitting on top of the rack. I use it before and after.
