Snakelet rack idea- Iris scrapbook chest

I picked up two of these a while back and put the together. That is as far as I have got lol. Need to put some holes for ventilation and run the flexwatt but nothing complicated.

    Hi,

The general opinion is there is no easy way to make the heating work in it or get it escape proof.

Looks like they all have individual lids, so I think it's feasible. Can't really tell all that well by the pics though.

Not really any different that economy racks that are open on the back and sides. I can run 4 in flexwatt on each shelf if I want. I plan to use 11 in flexwatt down the back or side. I can also easily close the sides with tile-board or something else thin if need be. I will probably do the side as I plan to get more then I can connect them side by side and sandwich the flexwatt.

Yes they are actually hinged and snap closed. Escape proof for sure

    Don't know the qt size. It is about 14"L x 14" W x 3"H
That is about half the size of flat 32/34 qt tubs

Just a little bit more than 3". Perfectly fine imo
Still plenty of thing that will fit in there for hides and even small pet dishes.

I made one with this exact box last year and it worked for the new littles ones to shed out in to begin with but I found it was not deep enough for them to lift their heads up when swallowing thier first mouse so I do not use it anymore...

Well I have used these in the past as feeding tubs for neo boas.

I started a deformed baby boa, with a down ward kinked neck to eat just fine in those little things which are about an 1.5 " tall. So I can't see an issue the larger container. But thanks for the insight, I will keep it in mind.
