    When do your breeders eat?

I was wondering when everyone's snakes start to eat normal again after breeding? So far I have had no success

Each snake is different but Its normal to still have some be off feed. If its a female that laid try cleaning Everything to get the scent of the eggs out. Either way I wouldn't worry too much, they will eat when they are ready.

Re: When do your breeders eat?

Hang in there bud, if he's been with a female as recently as a week ago, chances are he's still itching to go at them. They start eating when they start eating, there's no set time frame. This past winter, I actually tried pairing my males much less to encourage them to stay on feed, and it seems to have worked to some degree...both with their eating and with fruitful pairings.

Re: When do your breeders eat?

My males were eating on and off again earlier in the year, but now they're not eating at all. In the past, mine can take up to a month after their last breeding attempt to start feeding again.

    Patience, that's the best advice!
