HELP! It is her reproductive organs!
I have a unknown sex (probably female) ball python 1500 grams and she/he used to be in ecoearth and now she's on paper towels and sphagnum moss...
What is this? It seems connected to her. What should I do? It is hanging out.... Probably not leave it alone? Vet is 140 just to admit the snake so if there is anything I could do first it would be better.... Kinda worried... Never bred her before. What should I do? Thanks

Is it very possible that she is indeed a boy? Sperm plugs can look kinda swirly like that but it looks like it might be a piece of substrate too. Hope someone can chime in!

Crusty scales from a previous shed would be my guess. Wipe them off, you won't break your snake.

Looks like a bit of poop.
See if you can "wipe" it out gently with a bit of damp paper towel.

My vote is on neither, since it appears you're not popping it correctly.
