Can I feed my RTB after 5 days?

She ate last Wednesday but she just seems hungry now. Does it have to be 7 days?

I'd wait 7-10 days, as long as your feeding appropriate sized meals she'll be fine.

How big is she? When they are smaller I prefer a 5-7 day feed and when they get older it moves to 7-10. Feeding every 5 days isn't going to hurt anything...

Your fine with a 5 day feed schedule if you'd like. Usually when you feed more often it would be slightly smaller meals...

Boas should be fed on a 7-10day schedule when young. Unlike a bp, boas do better on less meals. Once a sub-adult, you should feed it every 14 days. They build better muscle mass and less fat if you don't over feed them. I meant to also add that you might want to try to up the size of the prey.

Re: Can I feed my RTB after 5 days?

She is eating smaller mice right now so I fed her again and she took it right away. I plan on using a slightly larger prey (The mice came with her for free) once these are gone. Thanks for all the info guys. Really appreciate it.

Watching a snake eat is awesome btw. I like her even more now
