My first clutch EVER! Normal X Lemon blast

Wow, is all I can say right now. I'm literally shaking with excitement. I can't believe this day has come. The proud mama weighed around 2500 grams before laying the eggs she is now 1806 grams. I was so excited that I forgot to weigh the eggs before placing them in the incubator. It looks like I ended up with 9 good eggs and 1 slug. Not bad at all for my first clutch!!!

I tried peeling the top egg off but it wouldn't come and I didn't want to rip anything. The problem is the top egg is barely touching the lid on the tub. I have read before that they shouldn't be, I tried taking a bunch of the perlite/vermiculite out and it is still touching. Should I be worried about that or what do I do?

Thanks for looking and sharing my excitement!

Gratz, I hope you nail the odds....you may have trouble with condensation gathering on that egg thats touching the lid. If the egg is not lose enough to come off the pile you may wanna get a bigger box.

    Nice clutch!
Not incubating the slug, ehh? Does it look like it could be good?

Congratulations, that's awesome! I picked up a normal breeder girl to pair with my vanilla mojave if he ever gets to size. Can't imagine how excited you are with actual eggs in the incubator! Little jealous here, to say the least, lol! Hope you hit the odds and they all hatch out for you. Good luck.
