My wife started all of this with our cali king, Nibbles.
She is not supportive or against it
She just says I ruined snakes for her after I decided I wanted to breed. I saw all of the paiint jobs that I couldnt afford so I started studying and buying.
She has a couple she likes but I tend to go overboard when its something I really want
She may come back around when the eggs start hatching.

My husband doesn't like the snakes or the rats. Once in a while he likes to be able to show the snakes to his friends, but otherwise he doesn't like being near them.

My girlfriend was breeding bearded dragons before I met her. Wasn't hard for us to get along. Now I got a whole bedroom that is the reptile room of our animals. Then her BRB are in our bedroom because they need a lower temp. So yea id say shes pretty supportive.

I had a friend when I was a kid that her mom had a couple ball pythons and a burm or two. I would always carry the bps around the neighborhood while I was out playing. My mother wouldn't even let me on the driveway with one.
When I met Chad, he had a redtail boa, Big Daddy. Now, 6 years later, I have over 50 ball pythons and he has I don't even know how many burms, retics, boas and hots. Plus I got my gtp and my leos. This was a thing we wanted together, so I have mine I take care of and he has his.

I am the same way....I am allergic to pine, so the bedding drives my sinuses and skin CRAZY......after I feed, which, I feed prekilled to some stuff, I have to take a shower, becuase if I don't, I itch for about 3 days. I am VERY lucky that my wife likes breeding the rats/mice.

All of my local snake buddies wanna trade wives.....lol.....

Funny, Hubby and daughter always wanted a snake. Finally talked me into one, now I am addicted, and we have 7. I love them. Most recent addition is a baby boa who I just adore. I do all the snake care, cleaning/ feeding. Hubby does all the rodent care, cleaning and feeding. So we are very much in this together.

Support come in all shape and form, my husband does not like snakes however he supports whatever I get into, I am not expecting him to participate or help in anyway as it is MY hobby and he does not, however years back in our old house he gave up the room that was supposed to become his man cave so I could expand my collection (Not many would do that)

In the new house we now have both the man cave and my snake room so everyone is happy

My hubby is an awesomely wonderful supportive better half...And as of this mrning during our "what to breed next year" discussion, we are fighting over females!!! Heeheee.....he got "lost" during a snake show a couple of years ago and was "found" buying a recessive pair!! So half of our snakes are for his projects and half are for mine. On the bad side he doesn't really do any of the cleaning involved but he does work and I don't so......no serious complaints!!

    Love you Honey!!!
