    Lab block resource list!

Hey all I think it would be great to have a thread where people post, what state they live in and then list the places they buy their rodent food, and rate if the prices are good.

I live in Washington and have yet to find a good cheap source so if anyones know someplace I don't I'd love to know.
Also those of you who by online. List the site! and include shipping prices cause it does't do any good to get a bag for cheap if the shipping costs as much as the bag.

    Anyway:

    WASHINGTON: Bremerton area more specifically.

    Del's Feed and Farm Supply
They have Mazuri 6f in 25lb bags for $18. It's the best I've found locally, but still not cheap. They do have special rates if you buy a pallet, but I don't need that much at a time.
I go to: Del's in Port Orchard
2585 Mitchell Road S.E. Port Orchard, WA 98366
    Phone: 360-876-4590
And they have lots of washington locations, check it out: http://www.delsfarmsupply.com/store_locator.php

    Farmland Pets
Not a great store but they're closer to me and I buy there in a pinch. Again Mazuri 6f and last time I went a 25lb bag cost me $28.
Located at 9000 Silverdale Way Northwest Silverdale, WA 98383
    (360) 692-0415
I'm really kinda ashamed to promote this store, it's dirty, the animals always look ill, but they do carry a wide range of the stuff I need when I'm in a bind.

So that's it! Please please post! Everyone is always looking for suppliers local to themselves, this could be a great resource.

I'm in Canada, but I'll post where I have got blocks from in the past.

Ren's Pets is $30 for a 50lb bag of Mazuri, and I think it was $20 shipping (I'm on the other side of the country). so a buck a pound.

Flower town chinchillas is somewhere down east too. They have 33lb bags of Harlan rodent diet, various protein amounts, for $26. I think shipping was a bit more, though.

In Utah, IFA makes a rat block food. It's ~$17 per bag. At most IFA stores, if you buy 5 bags or more, they give a 10% discount! We'll be trying it when we run out of native earth. others I know have used it and have had good results. We'll see..

I breed rodents and sell feed to my friends all the time. Find a rodent breeder and try to buy from them.

    Ziegler Feeds

    I'm in Central Virginia
I get A bulk order shipped directly to me from Ziegler Feeds in PA

    http://www.zeiglerfeed.com/html/

Great feed, I think it ran around 27$ for a 50# bag with shipping. My rats THRIVE on their this. I produce so many, I've started supplying my LPS with all my extras for store credit
