Male ball python hit puberty?

Today I noticed my male ball python wondering all over his cage which he never does and he seemed eager to get out so I picked him up and he started to wrap around my arm and squeeze hes done this before but this time it was gentle and he also started to hiss at night so could he be hitting puberty soon or has he already passed it? hes 2 years old and 700 grams as of today.

Snakes don't really go through puberty the way humans do. As a two year old, your ball python is a young adult. He passed puberty a long time ago.

Why do you think night time hissing is a sign of puberty, and are you sure it's not an RI?

Well I asked some guy who had ball python's he told me that when they start to hiss they would be in puberty sorry I don't know much about how they mature but when he was a baby he got an RI infection but he got over it pretty fast when I bought him a new heating pad sorry again i dont know much about them hitting puberty thanks for the info!

I'm sure that guy is well meaning, but he's not very smart about ball pythons.

Thanks for the info well I don't know many people with snakes and I always forget to ask the reptile store I go to... I'm still learning new things about ball pythons thanks for the help!
