Thanks!! A spider wasnt really in my initial breeding plans. I was just going to get a bumblebee instead, but I dont think this is a bad route to go = P Nothing wrong eith an extra spider lying around. Plus hes a cutie XDD. Im not sure if he has much of a wobble yet. Ill have to cross my fingers.

I think the only thing im worried about is the transition to white on his sides. It looks slightly choppier than I would prefer. If I were to pair him with a pastel that has a great pattern do you think it will kind of balance out?

Any idea why the seller is getting rid of him? Also, why are there two Spiders in the pictures? Is the seller a breeder?

    Re: Getting my first Spider!

Honestly, im not entirely sure if the woman im buying him from is a breeder, or why she is getting rid of him. I think I got him for such a good price because she had a few buyers before me bailed last minute because they couldnt justify driving that far(shes like 20 minutes from me)

Honestly, even if there is something wrong with the lttle guy(mites, RI, agression) Its nothing that cant be fixed, and he's supposedly a good eater.

Not to mention I know what quarentining entails. My first two female normals were both "aggressive" snakes, and since theyve been in my care Ive only been bit twice(Both were my fault, for moving too quickly and over the eldest ones head)

If the snake has an obvious RI, I would pass on it if I were you. Good Luck with your purchase!

    Re: Getting my first Spider!

Well, I went to pick him up and hes in perfect health. She got her brothers ball python collection when he went into the army a few months ago. This is the only snake in the collection she was unable to switch over to F/T and she didnt want to deal with live feeding. He's acclimating to his new tank now = P Hopefully Il have more luck getting him onto F/T.

I think he is very nice looking, very gold which should translate well in a Bee.
