    New Columbian Tegu

    It was kinda spurr of the moment purchase. Well I have been wanting a tegu for a while but still the purchase was spurr of the moment. Current set up is a 20 gallon long. I don't know the gender so will be calling it an her but I named her Nidhogg. I had her in a 29 gallon aquarium but was having trouble getting her outta with how high the wall was. So now she is in a 20 gallon long, but when she gets older I'm in the process of construting an 5' x 3' x 2' enclosure. I know it should be a minimum of 6' but there is a length maximum it can be where it is getting placed.

    Well here is a picture of the new addition.



    And I'll update as the enclosure is constructed. This is from where I started to where its at currently.

    Congrats on the little cutie it's that time of year for imports and CBB baby tegus to start popping up. I got my Colombian around this same time last year.
