I think pastel, I can see the color in his eyes in first picture. But my first thoughts were, that he looks very skinny. I might be concerned about his health.

Ok, I should have said that lighting will not change the fact that it's a pastel, regardless of what you're seeing. Just like any other morph, pastels can greatly vary, but it won't change what it is.

Looks like a pastel to me. But like people have said, he looks thin. If you do get him make sure to quarantine him.

I would want a photo that isn't overexposed, and shows his head, because it's awfully dark for a pastel (the head that is).
The body looks like it could be a pastel, but I'd want a good head shot, personally.
It is the end of the breeding season, so I expect any male that's been breeding, or that's been in a rack with females and off feed, to be rather thin, but I'd also recommend quarantining him plenty.

Looks like your average adult pastel. My first male pastel looked just like that in photos with bad lighting.
Very skinny though.
