    Re: Reliable Ball Python Breeders

The first ball python i had ever bought was a yellowbelly from Adam Chesla at the Atlanta Reptile show, and I have seen maybe two other yellowbellies for sale that are as nice looking as the one i got from Adam. My ball python has kept his golden/yellow colors and he seems to be blushing more with each shed! Adam is very reliable, helpful, and he cares about the animals he breeds/sells.

One other thing: I have a fairly low budget, so what breeders are reliable but also drive a low price? Thanks.

Find a reptile expo, there are tons coming up. You will find the best bang for your buck there.

What is the greater driving force for your purchase? A certain morph you want, or an overall dollar amount you can't exceed

Richard/Reptile Rapture has normal males for $45 plus shipping and the prices for his morphs look fair to me :3

The Board of Inquiry (BOI) over at Faunaclassifieds.com is full of reliable ball python breeders. There are literally hundreds of people who are genuinely reliable, 99% aren't as well known because they aren't big.

I'm a fan of Jeremy Smith over at Fireball Reptiles. Thanks to him we hope to be producing awesome SPOGs next season.

$45 for normal males?!?! Ouch that's high you can pick a pastel male for $15 more. I say reptile expos are the way to go. You won't pay shipping you can meet the breeder in person and ask as many questions as you want. You can play with the animal you are going to purchase (plus a few that are out of your price range ) careful and only take what you are willing to spend though.

Sabrina's is great! But yeah, some names are on the sidebar. If you prefer to buy local you should look around online. You can check out the snakes before you buy, so it's less of an issue.
