However, in this updated post, the snake looks more cinny. It may just be a lower quality Black Pastel though... It's hard to see the squiggles, but I think I sort of see some dark shading that could pass off as very light light squiggles??

My Black Pastel has a Jet black head and back w/ little blushing. I find that Cinnys have more blushing...

Can you get a closer shot at some of the alien heads?
It's two different snakes. I noticed that too so I compared the neck markings and stripe to be sure and re read the posts. Loki is a male (the first snake) which is the one that looks like a black pastel. The female is the second snake the OP posted and it looks like a cinnamon.

Re: Need Help: Black Pastel or Cinnamon???

That's disappointing. I'm trying to shoot for a Panda in the future, is there much of a difference when pairing BP w/ BP than BP w/ Cinny?

I just noticed that they were two different snakes. haha
    My bad!
I got confused for a little while wondering why the second snake looked different. I got the update post in my email and didn't realize it was an additional snake.

But yeah. I agree. I believe the first snake is a BP and the second is a cinny.

I believe you can still get a Panda Pied.

A panda = Super Black Pastel Pied.

A cinny and a black pastel can make a super together. It will be a solid black/brown snake.
(Cinnyxcinny, BPxBP, BPxCinny are all compatible)

It wouldn't matter if one was a cinny because they ate compatible and you still have the same shot at getting a black snake when they are bred together. You can still use them to breed into pieds for future pandas.
