when was your latest pair
when is the absolute latest you guys pair and get a succesfull clutch of efggs later? i have my pewter female that is 1300 im ready to pair but i wanna wait until 1500 how long should i wait before just letting her skip a season?

You dont necessarily have to breed her during season. Some breeders breed year round.

I dont see a problem with it, as long as your paying attention to the animals health year round as well. Such as making sure they are not going off feed for year round also . Im only breeding during the season because I want to focus on breeding them during one time and feeding them the rest. I just have to many things going on to focus on whats breeding what year round.

I breed all year round. I have my girls set up in groups. A fall group, spring group, summer group. The females that are in each group stay in that breeding scheme for as long as i breed them.
