    Brown Back?

So i've never heard of brown back before and I don't see it on the morph list but maybe it's another name for something... Anyway, these pictures were sent to my cell. Normal or something else?

I would label that as a Black back normal.
Black blacks can be a genetic trait, but not its own morph.

    There are genetic black backs...
The only way to find out if what you have is genetic is to breed lol
Looks like a normal tho to me...

It is a normal, yes. The brown back of which you speak is also called black back. This refers to the large amount of black or lack of patterning on the back. Yours also has a nice amount of what is called blushing in the black, which makes it look brown.

While it can be genetic, passed on from parent to offspring, usually it's just random. It makes for an attractive snake, as you can see.

By the way, I'm sure you already know this, but I'm gonna say it anyway. Be extremely careful with a cat or kitten around your snake. Cats tend to bat or paw at things they find interesting, and their claws can cause an almost instant and severe infection. I know, I almost lost my right foot to an infected cat wound, and I only waited one day to see a doctor.

It's not my snake... I would never let a cat around my snake.

I said in the first post the pictures were sent to my cell phone. I was asking before i get it because i thought it was a normal, i'd never heard of brown back...

Thanks for all the responses, I wanted to make sure before i considered getting it, just in case it was something new or was better known as something else.

The one on your first post doesn't look like the brown backs in the link
