BP's and LOUD noises
Do loud noises (severe thunderstorms, maybe even vacuuming, etc) have any affect on your bp's temperment? Do they tend to get stressed? Silly question, but curious.

Yes. It all depends on the snake.
But I've come across some snakes that affected by loud noises and low frequency bass music.
On one occasion, a ball owner had a new roommate who played bass music all the time. The snake went off feed. The snake was vet checked as was perfectly healthy. The roommate stopped playing the music 3-4 weeks later and the snake ate fine.

They cant hear but from a study i read they sense vibrations through their jaw bones. So you could shout right next to them and it wont hurt them but theyll prolly feel the vibrations and get stressed out...
The occational vaccuuming of a room wont stress them out anymore than taking them out to hold them would. Just dont sit in the room blasting dubstep lol.
Oh god dubstep... smh, smh...

Any sound that can produce a low frequency vibration can be picked up by your BP. To what extent it will cause stress most likely would depend on the proximity, intensity and duration of the vibration...and, of course, the snake's temperment.

From what I've seen in my snake (and I'm not saying this applies to all snake, Koga might just be a freak) vibrations and loud noise doesn't have much of an effect on his temperament or feeding. I listen to my fair share of dubstep (don't be hatin) and used to have F-16s fly over my house daily. I might just be ignorant to signs of stress, but he seems perfectly fine.

my room mate listens to dubstep... where does music come from in that... Just kidding. If there isn't a guitar, bass drums or other types of hand held instruments or a piano.

Just because they're synthesized instruments doesn't mean they're not there, silly goose. Love the wub!
