    Opinions on my pastel

Ive seen alot of these lately and I wanted to post one. I plan on bumblebees with this girl and I know that my spider is awesome so is this pastel up to the task. She is 450 grams and apparently 2 years old. We rescued her from a cold, dry tank where the owner said she was feeding her mouse pinkys. She eats like a shredder now and is packing on weight like a mother. We got her in october i think at 170 grams ish.

There is no way she is 2 years old, even with improper feeding I can't see her being more than a year old.

Her colors are nice, a tad bit dirty on top though. But I love her blushing.

Yea, she has to be younger than that. My Cody is less than a year old, gets one rat a week, and is 761g as of yesterday. She has the same coloring as he does but I don't know if that's good or bad.

Ya we don't believe that person but we have nothing else to go by on her age. Meh. She is a sweetheart anyways.

I think she might throw some nice babies once you get her up to size.

As far as the age, yeah, everything Aaron and Jedi said.

Not too bad for 450gms. A little browned out but she has nice blushing.

Do they always continue to brown out or once they hit a certain size/age do they stop loosing color? Browning always confuses me.

I could be mistaken, but I believe their colors mostly solidify once they are finished with most of their growing (3 years+).

Everyone has different things they look for in pastels. Personally, I'm a sucker for nice contrast--I think your girl is spectacular!
