    Valkyrie

I found out that this girl wont eat her bugs unless I remove her CGD. Now that I know this little fun fact I hope she can get big enough for this season.

I just weighed her today. She is currently 32 grams without her tail. I think she could be ready by spring/fall. 35/38 grams is a reasonable weight gain if she keeps eating roaches the way she has been. My male Corwin is currently 35 grams so he is a perfect weight already.

Here is Corwin, the male that will be paired with her. Hopefully they will make some awesome hatchlings!

Um, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't citrus + geckos a bad plan (gecko on oranges = gecko claws in citrus oils)?

    Nice looking cresties, though...
Mountain bikes are for slow people, and reptiles are far better pets than cats & dogs!

Yes, they have claws, but I doubt she was digging her claws in, or anywhere close enough to have issues within the matter of seconds she was on an orange. I'll look into it, but I'm not worried about it.

Thanks for the concern and the nice comments about my cresties.

She and Corwin are going to make a great pair. When you first posted photos of him I hoped you would find him a really nice female.

It's fine to take her photo on citrus fruits with the peel on. The peel is way to thick for her nails to penetrate. The main concern with citrus is with ingestion--they can't handle the citric acid so you just want to avoid it if you are giving a fresh fruit treat.

It took me what seems like forever to find a suitable female for him. When I saw Valkyrie I couldn't resist. I knew about not feeding citrus to basically anything but humans, I assumed it was fine. Thanks for the insight. I appreciate all your help lately with my leo!
