Now I will never see them :-)

Recently changed out hides to the black ones from Reptile Basics. I do believe my snakes adore them. I may never see them again...lol. Their previous hides (the fake rocks from Petco) I could at least see part of them in there. These great new black hides have the offset entrance, so they can become invisible. Great product! These are the best. Snakes went right in them, I was worried about them stressing from the change, but no, they just dissappeared. I haven't seen them in days...

The RBI hides are great: low cost, easy to clean, durable, and best of all make the BP's feel really secure

I would make sure they are the Reptile Basics ones though. There are other ones out there that have the entrance at the long end, not off set. The off set seems to provide privacy.

They are by far the best hides I've ever used, and the most reasonably priced.

why is it that a good portion of the animals owned on this site can be described as either pet tunnels or pet holes? if i used hides in my rack i would never see a single animal i own, and even without hides i only see them half the time because they LOVE to hide under the newspaper lol

seriously I mean if you go to the pet store you are looking at $15 minimum for a piece of crap that is hard to clean and really isn't as effective a hide. I know that some people want something that looks nicer than the RBI hides but at the end of the day that doesn't really matter to me. I want the hide that is the best for my snakes and so far I haven't found anything that even comes close.
