Caramels and cinnamons. What's the difference?

I was not really into the darker morphs but lately caramels and cinnys have started to intrigue me. Did a quick search here on this topic but couldn't find any real distinctive answers. Could you guys help me out and explain the difference b/t the 2 in plain simple terms. Better yet, post some pix of the 2 side by side.

Who knows. I might pick up both if you guys can convince me.

I wouldn't necessarily consider caramel to be a darker morph. Anyway, aside from looking totally different, caramel is a recessive gene, cinnamon is a co-dominant gene.

Heres a caramel. No where close to a cinnamon. Not to mention one is a recessive genetic and the other is a codom

You sure you didn't mean Black Pastels and Cinnamons...I don't see how its even possible to confuse a Caramel for a Cinnamon They don't look the slightest bit similar

Cinnamon is normally in powder form and Caramel is a thick liquid almost like molasses much more firm than Butter but not as hard as Granite, which some Granite counters have Spider patterns not so much of a Pinstripe pattern

The OP has to have meant either Caramel and Ultramel, or Cinnamon and Black Pastel.

As I understand it, the Black Pastel and Cinnamon stem from the same parent. Basically the same mutation. Cinnys tend to be a little lighter than black pastels. Kind of like light vs. dark normals...They're both normals, but one's lighter than the other.
Lots of BPs, and still not enough!

My caramel was deffinately not dark, caramels are light and recessive, cinnies are codom and dark which morphs are you meaning?

caramels have more purple lavender tinting than ultramels as for cinny vs black pastel I think the cinnies have more of a brown tint to them black pastels well obviously more black lol

They don't stem from the same parent. MANY cinnamons and black pastels have been imported. They do have a bit of a different look compared to one another but basically are and do the same thing.
