whats the difference between a pastel and a jungle pastel?
Pastels were originally called Jungle pastels, but over time the name has been shortened to just pastel. So there isn't any difference... they are one and the same

I think Pastel is just short for Pastel Jungle, kinda like Lesser for Lesser Platinum
