Ya I. Decided no to bring mites home until I have the problem with my own snakes I decided. Not to dive into mit exterminating

lol, a minor case of the mites. Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Thats like saying, "I have head lice, but I'm still healthy" and then expect other people to want to wear my hat. There are plenty of people with snakes without mites, get one of those. If it has mites and the guy hasnt gotten rid of them yet and thinks its ok as long as the snake only has a few, I'd call into question his ability to keep any snake healthy let alone the one hes offering to sell you for "a good deal".

Far better to assume any new snake as a potential mite carrier and have a nice betadine bath for them, also good for other germs, and a nice clean house pretreated with provent-a-mite and white paper towels while in quarantine. Might also be a nice gesture to help this snake, plus any others he might have, by referring him here or at least printing off things or emailing to help him rid his snake(s) from this affliction. Lets help the unfortunate ones who cannot help themselves, and our fellow man. Never know when it will be us needing some advice or help. If you want to, give him my info and I will be happy to offer suggestions as a neutral party.

He said he had it under control and had cleaned the cages and the snake but hen I came down to it I couldn't Get ahold of him to ask questions no answer but if it watsnt for people helping me out in here my snake would still be on a heat rock with wet substrate and fussies every other week per PETCO so I would only pass on good info now or say IDK LOL I'm done on his thread

I agree, I am not sure I would risk exposing mites to my entire collection for a "good price."
If you are positive that this snake is something you really want, I would recommend finding/creating a space in which you can completely isolate the sick snake from the rest of your collection.
This will help reduce the risk of exposure until you can make sure the mites are completely gone (while taking the necessary steps with products like PAM and/or other meds).
