    Albino w/ pinkish tinge???

    Hello,

I have a 22yr old normal that I have had since a baby and I just acquired an albino that weights 182g. I was wondering - he turns pinkish towards his head-is that normal? He's not very bright yellow, but has some great markings. Just wondering about the pink. I have seen lots of pics of albino's but not any with this pinkish tinge them. Let's see if can post pics.

Yeah, pics distorded. Maybe he is going to go into shed? Not sure about albinos, but have heard that say a pied, where they are white, turn pink when going into shed.

My albino's will turn pink when going into shed. Wait a week or so and see if it does.
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.

    Picture still suck, sorry.

Thanks for the replies - that makes since. I didn't think he was going into shed because I just got him a week ago and he had a piece of loose skin on his head and I assumed he just shed. But that was probably a silly assumption, thanks!

most balls with white in them can have a pink look from anything like laying on something or shedding.
