What females should I get next?

    I currently have:

    1.0 2010 Super Pastel
    0.1 2011 Albino
    0.1 2011 Bumblebee 100% het hypo
    1.0 2011 het albino

The albino and het albino are my boyfriend's snakes. Looking to get at least 2 more females this year to start raising. What morphs should I get? I love getting opinions from other people

Females: Fire, Black Pastel het Albino, Pinstripe het Albino, Mojave, Mojave het Hypo

Male: Orange Ghost (for the het Hypo girl)

All of those would not be terribly expensive (not sure on your budget)

Do you want single gene or double genes? What's your price range? I suggest something with lesser/butter in it. Maybe black pastel. Can never go wrong with one if those.

I would get a fire for the Super Pastel, a Yellow Belly is also a good choice, and a BEL complex (Mojave/Lesser/Butter)
    ~Aaron

0.1 Pastel 100% Het Clown Ball Python (Hestia)
    1.0 Coastal/Jungle Carpet Python (Shagrath)
    0.1 Dumeril's Boa (Nergal)

    0.1 Bearded Dragon (Gaius)

    1.0 Siberian Husky (Picard)
    0.1 German Shepherd/Lab Mix (Jadzia)

I don't really want to spend more than a thousand on any one snake, single or double gene. Just want to have a nice variety in my ball collection for future breeding.

Re: What females should I get next?

I'd go with maybe a nice pastel yellowbelly and a granite hypo. Those are 2 that if you shop around enough can definitely be found for under $1,000, gives you 2 double gene females, as well as a visual recessive to make for an easy time making hets, breeding back and making more co-dom recessive combos.

All of the ones I listed are well under a grand each, and you could probably get them all for less than 2 grand total if you buy babies.

The a Fire female for the SP

Black Pastel and Pin both het Albino for the het Albino male

A Hypo male and a Mojo het Hypo female to start a project with your Bee het Hypo

A Mojo or Lesser female to go with the SP male.

Maybe toss in a Enchi for good measure.

For closer to a grand PER snake you could start adding another gene. My Black Pewter het Hypo was around a grand, as was my Fire YB.
