Please don't flame me for this... Bateater care?

I know this is a hotly debated topic, and I really don't want this to turn into a thread bashing bateaters and whatnot. I was just wondering if any of you on here have any or know how best to keep them.

I ask because I have a friend working on a dwarf bateater project (SD 'tic x dwarf burm) and if it works out I'm going to be getting one of the young ones. I just wanted to get an idea of good husbandry for them. Again, I know that not everybody agrees on the breeding of hybrids, but please try to control yourself. If you don't agree with them, I'd rather you didn't take it out on this thread please.

if anything you could try contacting a breeder and see what they say, i know nerd at least has them

Burms and retics have fundamentally the same care requirements, with the exceptions that retics are more prone to suffer with inadequate heat and humidity, and require more humidity come shedding time as well as more climbing room.

Setup as you would for a retic.
