I forgot I had an order coming in from RodentPro today, so I was a little unprepared for my apartment complex to call me. When you can't be there to receive a package FedEx or UPS will leave it at the office for you. This is the voice mail I because I don't usually answer my cell phone at work:
"Hi Rebecca, this is Mark from <insert my apartment complex name here>. You have a package in the office that is marked as perishable. It appears to be some kind of frozen meat, I'm sure there is an interesting story behind it... uh.. it's probably something for your snake..."
It goes on from there about how he wanted to make sure I knew it was there so it didn't spoil. When I went to go and pick it up, I had an interesting conversation with them. They were taking guesses at how many where in the box and what exactly it was. They were close guessing 250, but there were 315 rats in my order.
I really do live in a super pet friendly apartment and now the office guy has an interesting story to tell his friends about how he received a box full of frozen rats.
And because no story is complete without pictures, here is my freezer after I put the rats away. (I'm really glad I didn't order a 4 month supply like I had planned, only half of them would have fit.)
Rats and ice cream - what more could a girl want.(that's pretty much all that is in my freezer, there are a few pieces of chicken in the ice bucket, but that's about it.)
