    A happy ending :)

So my A.metallica molted about 5 days ago, and this was my first "large" spider to molt. It was very lethargic for a few days, wasn't drinking that I knew of, and stayed grounded. So last night after poking around at it I started to get worried, because "he" was staying in this very freightened/borderline death curl pose, but was reacting slightly to me poking it. So of course I started freaking out, and sought the help of Tiffany and Jeff and together they both thought it was necessary to set up an ICU.

Here is what he looked like after removing his plant to poke him a little.

So you can see why I was worried. So I set up a small deli cup, there were two small holes for ventilation, I added a wet paper towel on the bottom and placed the T in. I left it over flexwatt set to about 78 degrees overnight.

I'm happy to say that as of right now, he's back to his old self. Even gave me a hard time getting put back in his enclosure. I figured I'd take the time to snap a few pics

I saved his molt, hopefully the spider guy at my local reptile shop and sex "him" for me He's so FLUFFY!!!

Thank you CoolioTiffany and Boanerges for all your help! I don't know what I would do without you

    yay! thats good to hear..

my avic avic seems to be having a similar problem... right after molting she started acting funn, all curled up... I set up a QT tank today and gave her some water.. but my QT tank is her old tank cleaned up and lots and lots of dirt (filled almost to the top so that I can keep better track of her) It also looks like she had a bad molt... a could of her legs don't look right hopefully she will get better soon

glad to hear yours is doing well again! and I agree they are soooo cute with all their fluff
