Antaresia (Aussie Dwarf Pythons) pricing?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask about this, but I've tried searching breeder sites and the KS classifieds and come up with nothing. Does anybody know about what you can expect to pay for baby and/or juvenile Children's and Stimson's pythons? I'm finding myself more and more interested in them lately (esp the Stimson's), and I can't figure out what they cost. Any experience would be appreciated.
Note that I know the animal itself is not the largest part of total ownership cost, etc; I'm just looking to get a ballpark of what I can expect to pay, and there doesn't seem to be pricing out there on the web (or my google-fu sucks).
Mountain bikes are for slow people, and reptiles are far better pets than cats & dogs!

theres a red male childrens on kingsnake for 75 plus shipping, and some pygmy's for 500 for females, or 975 for a pair, but their not listing any single males
another person has childrens for 125, and a spotted for 125 as well

Maculosa and Children can be had for under $100.
Stimsoni probably about $125.
Anthills much much higher.

Thanks for the info guys - it lines up with what I was hoping/expecting, so at least my budget is reasonable, then.

I seen spotted for 60 for hatchling Juvie and 100-150 for adult....
Childrens 75-125 depends on seller age....
Rest of them have no idea.....
Sorry for hijacking tread... But with Childrens and Spotted looks similar there is always chance to buy hybrid of this 2 Species...
Can Anybody point me to reputable breeder of Spotted Pythons so I can be sure that I'm buying geneticaly pure stuff ??

Childreni and Stimsoni have been hybridized to death - no way of knowing if you have a pure strain of either.
Maculosa are pretty much clean AFAIK.
I sold a pair of pure maculosa to Lolo76 on this forum. They may have locked up for her this year.

I suppose then, that much like carpets, all you can really do is buy from a reputable breeder and hope, as far as getting "clean" bloodlines goes. Given that I'm looking for a pet, rather than a breeding project, I guess it's not *too* much of a concern for me, other than just getting what's advertised rather than a "mutt."

There are quite a few pure lines of antaresia around. I keep pure lines of all 4 species. You just have to know who to deal with. As far as pricing goes like the others have said
50-100 for childrens and spotteds
125-300 for stimsoni depending on line (easterns)
