    Superpastel het hypo?

Is my superpastel het hypo? The breeder thinks he is.
    Opinions would be appreciated.

There is no visual difference between a super pastel and a super pastel het hypo, the only way to tell is to breed it to another het hypo or a visual (homo) hypo.

I was told the faded head spot, extreme blushing/fading and clear sheds are all het hypo markers?
I'm only interested in dom /co dom genes at the moment. But I'm thinking of selling him.

Was he the offspring of a Hypo snake? If not... the answer is right there.

You got it from a breeder right? What pairing made that particular snake?? Personally, if someone told you that, I'd say you were taken for a ride, but that's just me.

I paid a fair price. I've seen awful examples of superpastels sell for more.

I've seen alot of superpastels that look no better than a nice pastel.
He looks different to other sp's I've seen.

He does look a little off, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he's a het. He's a good looking snake and I'd be happy to have him het or not.

If you know the breeder, I'd ask what the pairing was.

Clear sheds means that it is a hypo, het hypos have regular sheds. As far as I know het hypos have no markers, the only way for it to be 100% het hypo is if one of the parents were a hypo.
