I have been looking around for a Uromastyx to add to my collection. When I came across these two in a craiglist add. These two little ones.


They both were being housed in this tank, (ignore the mess, I have like four major projects going on in my house atm). They were under a single incandescent bulb, no uv lighting. And a big water source, with a bowl of iceburg lettuce!! I couldnt leave them in that care.


I set this 55 up for them. With proper heating and UV lighting. Went to wally world got some frozem veggies and a nice spring mix salad.

After they settled in, I took them outside for an hr or so to catch some natural rays. I hope some nice yellow might eventually come back into them. They both have a nice appetite, love basking, and defecate regularly so far. So even though they werent being properly maintained, they seem like little champs. And by little I mean the male is roughly 8" and the female maybe an inch shy of him.
