Question Was this her pre lay shed?

So my Female mojave has been locking successfully with my pastel since December. She just shed off her skin and i was wondering if this was pre lay shed or just a shed during breeding. I fed her last 6 days ago and she ate no problem. And two days ago she was locked up on numerous ocasions with the pastel. Is this her pre lay?

For it to be her pre lay shed she would have had to ovulate already. If she ate she probably hasnt ovulated yet. If she is still locking and eating she is probably still building. If it were her pre lay shed she would most likely be off feed and refusing males. Just keep pairing until you witness and ovulation. Is she glowing?

Since she just came out of shed i would say she is brighter but not to the point of a glow.

It was probably just a regular shed then. She may start glowing soon. Also welcome to ballpythons.net!

She needs to have her pre-ov shed and ovulation first. She shouldn't lock after ovulation.
