    T-Stat for Rhino Raxx

Will my Hydrofarm thermostat work for my rhino raxx? Or do I need something different? I have 3 of them and I would really like to be able to use one of them on it.

It should work, but I would invest in something better when you can.

That would work, I got the VE-200 just bc everything is grounded on it. I dont think the 100 is. I absolutely love the ve-200 and would reccommend it to anyone!

The VE-100 is no better than a hydrofarm, both are no proportional thermostats. The VE-200 is proportional. I prefer herpstats over the VE line but both work great.

I really wish people would stop saying this, the new herpstats will be out in a week or so... they are replacing a old model with a new one... nothing is being discontinued, just updated with a new form factor and better circuitry.

They have already shipped some. The new ones will be fully ready this weekend in two days.

I agree the VE 100 is basically just a hydrofarms. I also still have no idea of the probe accuracy on the VEs I have sent 2 emails to reptile basics and am still waiting for a response... no answer yet which is odd, every other question gets answered quickly this one is ignored. (first email sent on ninth of Jan and second one on 23. I got an answer to a RHP question in between 14th however.) maybe the first one got lost I don't know I will not buy one until I know how much discrepancy can be expected.

The hydofarm are +/-2ºC (just under 4ºF) FYI.
