    Wrestling Rats!

My male and female rats for breeding in a 20 gal tub have a good life with a wheel and nice hide and tunnel and eating almonds and cheese and scraps. I do no not consider them pets only for feeding my pythons (4 normal's) and these rats love to fight i think the first week i got them they fought every night when the lights go out. Not a single bite mark or scratch so will they eventually drawl blood? These are a new pair of rats i have breed rats before and never seen them so active.

It's normal for rats to wrestle and play around in order to establish a pecking order. If they are really fighting you will know it. It won't be little squeaks, it will be loud screeches if it's for real fighting.

I hope you will consider putting the rats on a proper diet. Rats can survive on scraps, but they cannot be healthy living on them. Healthy rats = healthy snakes.
