    quick yes/no regarding MOSS

I have a bit of moss in a hide or two and some scattered on top of another hide for added moisture. My question is, can I re-use the same moss, and by that I mean soak it again and then put it back into the tank? Or am I being too cheap and I should just get more out of my bag.

Before I got a rack, I did the wet hide thing for over a year. I only changed the moss when I changed the substrate once a month (other than spot cleaning). As long as there is no feces or pee on it, just rewet it.
