Got to See the Burm Eat Today!
At work today we fed the 9' albino burm! Awesome snake! Ate three jumbo (7") rats. Didn't have the heart to feed it a rabbit... It was pretty cool though
I have a question. How often do you guys feed your burms? Ours gets fed every 3 wks to a month. Does that sound right?

Re: Got to See the Burm Eat Today!
I can't speak to Burm feeding, but as a rule for BP's, Boas, and my Dwarf retic, I feed either weekly, once every 10 days, or once every 14 days. It depends on whether or not the snake is a juvie or adult, and the size of the meal.
If I feed my retic a large rat, I give her one every 7 days. If I feed her an XL rat, I'll do 10-14 days as it's a pretty big meal. While I know snakes can go long periods without food (BP's are often too good an example,) I don't stretch their feedings. Keeping them fed at the intervals described above (more frequent with juvies) seems to be the best schedule. They are happy, not always hunting for food, and not overfed
Good luck!

3 weeks sounds about right for a full grown adult burm.
