    Flexwatt or UTH?

I've got an AP cage. It's got the place on the bottom for their recommended placement of the probe/flexwatt. I'm not sure if the flexwatt or an uth would be better, or if it makes much difference at all. I read somewhere that the flexwatt sags a little, and is better to use if you have cages/tubs to stack. I will be getting a herpstat 2 to hook up to whatever I end up getting. Opinions? TIA

Honestly use whatever you feel more comfortable with. 11 inch flexwatt is probably cheaper though imo. As long as you use a tstat, whatever heating element you choose shouldn't get hot enough to warp the cage.

Yea, I would like to know also which heating system's is preferred? I am currently using uth's on my tub's. Some of my tub's need more help so I added the lamp's.
But, will the flexwatt plus helix or what I choose to use for a T stat be better than the traditional heat pad/uth? Like the op said, is flexwatt best for rack system's only? Let's see what user's say.

If you're going to have just a few snakes, it doesn't really matter. If you're going to end up with a lot of them, go with flexwatt and a rack.

Honestly I don't think a UTH will even work on an AP cage. Flexwatt will be far cheaper and is what AP recommends to use. I wouldn't use anything else.
