She put this male and female together and witnessed the locks. And some time later, the MALE is found proudly curled up around a beautiful clutch of eggs. Both the animals had been sexed wrong from the get-go, and no one realized it until the eggs came out of the wrong one!

    XD AHAHAHA AWESOME.

I've had this happen. My first BP was a male, who I named Prince Oberyn. He, turned out to be SHE. I kept the name, and when I bought her a mate, named him Princess Pandemonium. It's weird to most people, but I find it funny. Seeing as I call them Ryn and Panda anyways, it's not particularly a big deal.

I would just continue calling him a She. At this point, it's going to be VERY hard to change that state in your mind. It took me months to stop calling Ryn a boy - and I had only had her for around 8 months. She's just a little short for her age

and I LOVE the name, keep it.

Well I'm definitely glad to know I'm not the only one! Thanks for sharing your stories!

Yes, I'm fairly certain. Given that that was the very last thing I was expecting to see I did a double take, but there were definitely two of them...

Yeah I don't think I am capable of making that transition!
Thank you! At the time I named her I had just started learning Spanish, so I thought it was fitting... and now I'm fluent (well, really close to being fluent)! So she has seen me through my lingual growth.

I had a holdback 'female' pastel that I raised up to breeding size. Then I put a male with her. The sound of crashing and thumping drew my attention later that day, and I found them locked...in combat, lol.

Taught me to triple-check my holdbacks as thoroughly as I do the sale animals.
"Sunna" became "Sumo" (he was a good wrestler), and is being paired with a woma girl this year.

My sis' snake is still "he" and "Joe". I say stick with what you are use to. "She" doesn't have to worry about her gender identity

My Elliot was sold to me as a boy, but now I suspect he's really a she (he won't pop as male, but I want to get him probed to be sure). I'm not sure what I would call him/her if he turns out to be female. Maybe Eloise? My bf is voting for Missy Elliot lol.
