They are all sooo cute! This just makes me want one of each.
14 snakes, 12 bugs, 1 skink, 1 frog, 2 dogs, and tons of fresh and saltwater fish. I've also begun snake rescue. What a ride!

Personally I wouldn't list #5 in the "herp" category. It's an arachnid.

This is true, it is. But arachnids and a few other invertebrates are an integral part of our hobby for many keepers. It states in the contest rules that such critters are welcomed to be entered in the HOTM category. 
(Just checked...the rules say "arachnids" rather than invertebrates, but either way, the T is fine, and I wouldn't mind if someone wanted to submit a giant millipede or other relatively commonly kept invertebrate.)
