    Help with cage set up.

I am getting ready for my ball python to go into a bigger tank. I made a water bowl and I was wondering what kind or paint I should use and if I should use a clear coat as well? I put stuff call pig putty around it to make it look like a rock. I just want to make sure that my snake will be safe. If anyone else have any other suggestions that would be helpful. Thanks

any spray on gloss clear coat that is non toxic should be fine, i would use krylon brand, and since its a water bowl maybe give it extra time to cure past the point where you cant smell it
