Fire Pastel or Pastel Yellow Belly
Ok so my brother owes me a big favor and said he will get me a snake within a reasonable price range to clear his slate. I would like to add either a Fire Pastel or a Pastel Yellow Belly to my collection. I want to make a wise decision for later down the line breeding projects that i have in mind. Both snake have great potential and it would be nice to get them both but I wont be greedy lol. I think I know what I want, but I'm courses to hear what other people's opinions are. So what would you rather have between the two double gene snakes and why. Thanks for the help.

Well, what else do you have? Yellow belly adds that magic touch to a lot of morphs, fires can be like another addition of BRIGHTNESS to any gene. That's really a tough choice!
I personally might go with the fire pastel! But it also depends on the quality of each! I'd go with the best looking one, hehe!

Personally I love fireflies, so I would chose that, but it is all up to personal preference.

To me, I like looking at fireflies better than I like looking at pastel yellowbellies. ... That said, it can't hurt to start hoarding pastel yellowbelly females if you ever want to crack open a pastel super stripe project (I looooove the super stripe stuff )
Although, with the firefly plus a vanilla, you could make this snake:

(I think if it were me, I'd go with firefly -- but then again I like 'em better and can't afford to get into the SS stuff for quite awhile.)

all depends what you have already???????
I am working on making my own pastel yellow bellys but I really like the fireflys too.
Either way a female is the way to go

jumbie! tell us what you have already! haha
I would go with the firefly
I remember seeing a firefly for the first time, I was just blow away with how bright the yellows were, and how dark and jet black the pattern was! When I saw a pastel YB, I thought it looked awesome, but it didn't have the same affect the firefly had on me.
I'm definitely going to work on making fireflies in the future

Sorry for the delayed response everyone, things have just been upside down for me over the past few days. I currently have in my collection the following snakes 1.0 Butter, 1.0 Enchi, 0.1 Lesser, 0.1 PE Desert. Also not in my collection yet but in the process of getting the following snakes 1.0 PE Desert, 0.1 Orange Dream (I can’t wait to get her I have some plans for her in a few years when she is up to size!!!).
I was leaning on getting the Firefly, my brother ended up getting her for me so it all worked out. I will post some pictures of her once I get her in my hands.
Thanks for all the replies Jumbie.
