Peat Moss

Hi;
I'm new here and while I grew up with a ball python I wasn't 100% savvy with the care so I'm very happy to find this place.
Anyway my question is about substrate.
I have a glass aquarium that my new girl is going to be in and I was wondering if peat moss would be acceptable? I have about 25square feet of it, but no use for it. (I just needed a little for my carnivorous plants, but couldn't find it in a small package).
If it won't work then that's fine but I would really like it if it could..:p

If you mean the pure ground up peat moss, then no, as its very dusty. You can stick your hand in it and it'll come out brown. Also if you stir it up a bit, it forms a brown cloud of dust.
