    My lesser

Doesn't look like most of the lessers I've seen here or at shows.

Is he low quality? I know he has a lot of eyes in the alien heads, and I've read people describing lessers with clean patterns. Just makes me wonder if he's not super nice

    Re: My lesser

    Hi,

It really goes on personal taste at the end of the day. And what you intend the future combo's to be if you plan to breed from them.

I personally like lessers with few alien "eyes" - but for lesser clowns ( which I adore ) it seems as though a busier pattern looks even more impressive.

But if I was mixing the lesser into a spinner the more reduced the better tickles my tush.

To my eye, I'd say he's above-average quality. He has really nice color -- very bright gold with a lot of yellow. IMO his blushing is quite striking, which is what makes him look different from a lot of other lessers.

I agree with Dr. Del in that I too prefer lessers with a more reduced pattern and fewer "alien eyes," so I can't give him as high marks in that category. Other than that, though, I really like him

While he has a busier pattern, I would still rate him well above average. Exceptional color and great blushing. He would make some awsome lesserbees, or pastel lessers or both together. Put him to a reduced pattern and see if you can't keep his color and clean him up a bit.
