flexwatt vs. heat pad on tubs
ok so im thinking of gettn a rack system, made of malemine, or something of some other sort, would heat pads be ok? or would it burn the wood, how bout flexwatt, if i hooked a power strip to the thermostat, and then plugged each of the flexwatt or heat pads onto each of the holes in the power strip, would it work? opinions please.

flexwatt is much more economical than getting a UTH for each tub imo

Also Flexwatt is THIN compared to most UTH. Which will affect your gap in racks you build

Flexwatt is the way to go. Depending on the UTH, if you hook multiple ones up to a powerstrip you can get different temps for each UTH. Flexwatt is much more consistent with temps in my opinion. I've had setups both ways.

And you can wire it (or have it wired) to a single plug so you don't have to mess with the power strip

Flex watt is much cheaper usually. The only variation is about the laws in your area. In my location (all of Canada actually) if you are going to set up as a business any and all electrical connections in commercial applications need to be certified by an electrician. If you needed to adhere to a condition like this (because failure voids all insurance for everything including the location the rack is in) it makes flex watt much more expensive. I operate a business and paid 600 to install flex watt. My business has nothing to do with snakes at all but I do have a home office and that means I cannot wire anything myself with out voiding my home insurance. Something that might need to be looked into.
