    Decisions decisions....

I am geting a new boy soon, and am deciding on permanent caging. I currently have a Boaphile 421D that I formerly housed a BCI in, but since selling that snake and getting ball pythons again, I am considering buying a nice rack instead of another full cage.

Dilemma here is that I have the snakes for pets and I like the display potential of a cage.

But... The less expense, space and ease of maintenance of a rack is attractive as well.

I really like the looks of the Boaphile poly rack, as it seems the closest to a combo of display and rack.

I also like the versatility of this one (and it $100 cheaper)

Otherwise it is get another, smaller cage, maybe a 321D. But the cage with heat will cost as much as a rack. AND, would need another if I expanded the collection.....

    Anyway, thinking out loud here.

Also, I have eyeballed other brands of cages and racks, but I know Boaphile, and this cage has lasted 5 years with no issues, so I kinda lean toward that brand.

Anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated.

i say the second one, because if you decided to get more snakes, you could house more than four, and they the ones on the top could grow into those top tubs, and even if you want a display cage, pick your favorite morph or favorite snake at all, and put him or her in that one,

I am not "planning" on a large collection, so that is not so much the issue. I really like the poly rack, and it is the front runner, but just thinking out loud.

I still have the 421D, so once they grow up, I can display one if I like.

If I get the poly rack then I have to decide on one or two more morphs to pick up to go with the albino and BEL........

Killer Bee, Pied, Xanthic.... got to love the choices

If you look around, you could probably trade the Boaphile cage for a nice rack.
It is nice to have a big cage for display purposes though.

Yeah I probably could. But I reckon I will keep the cage (I have the matching stand as well). The BEL will look very nice in there as an adult.

Whichever I go with I will be sure to post up plenty of pics and a review (after the requisite couple of mont wait for a Boaphile....)

Pulled the trigger on the Boaphile Poly rack with 4 drawers. I will post up pics and a review when it arrives and I get the kids moved in.

Now for the famous Boaphile wait..................................
