Kinking in super cinnamons
... I feel like I've noticed a number of posts about kinked super cinnamons.
Has anyone else noticed this, or heard of this as a common trend?
Anyone have any idea what the prevalence might be?
Just wondering if it's an emerging issue, or if it's just a statistical fluke. (I know that any snake can potentially kink due to incubation stress.)

I think kinking has more to do with incubation issues, it's much more common to hear about duck billing in supper cinnies and super black pastels. Kinking is a common problem in caramel ball pythons.
Currently have
2.3 pastel's
0.1 spider
0.1 normal
1.1 100% het albino's
1.0 Albino ( he will live at work but i get to take care of him)
1.0 Cinnamon
1.0 Fire

Yes, kinking has occurred in Super Cinny and Super Black Pastels. The odd part is, Silver Bullets and Super Pewters don't seem to be affected even in the same clutch....and I still haven't seen any "duck bills" in any of my offspring. Still a very beautiful morph!

I have never heard of kinking in super cinny/black pastels, though I have heard of duck bills.
I will be doing more research on it now that it has been brought to my attention.

Super Cinnies have a chance of being kinked and Super Black Pastels have a chance of being duck billed.
It is common to cross a Cinnamon with a Black Pastel to make a super so as not to have either of the issues.

I'd love to see a side-by-side comparison of a good super cinnie with a duck-billed one. I don't think I've ever seen that before!
1.0 Bumblebee (Edgar)
0.1 100% Het albino (Edna)
0.1 Normal/Dinker (Beatrice)
1.0 NG Frilled Dragon (Frank)
1.0 Patternless Leopard Gecko (Bruce)

I thought the "duck bill" issue was also seen with super cinnies ... No?
Has anyone hatched a super black pastel that was kinked, or a black x cinny that had deformities?
