    Jumbo/Mammoth rats vs. Rabbits

    Hey Guys,

I was curious as to whether you guys know about the fat content in rabbits vs. the fat content in these huge rats. I have recently gotten a couple of Boa's and they have been feeding on "Monmouth" Rats 450+ grams, but they are ready to be moved up to small rabbits. I want to offer them the best feeder that I can. It's more expensive to feed multiple jumbos.. I don't mind the cost so much but if the fat content is similar than it would be better for me, if I fed rabbits.

    What do you guys think?

A small rabbit will have a lower fat content then any xxl rat and will definitely be a better prey item for your boa.
