    Re: mojave?

Like I said I have seen pastaves that look similar to the one that the OP has. I am not saying it is one but just stating it as a possibility. A google search will show pics of lower grade pastaves that look similar to it. Again this is only a possibility.

    Re: mojave?

In case anyone is wondering. I bought him from global exotic pets in kitchener who got him from cory woods. Cory woods is a reputable breeder and the owner of global is also a breeder. He told me mojave. That's not to say he came from a clutch of mojave crossed to something else to make his colors/patterns all wonkey. Either way it will me cool to breed him out in the future. Will try to get pics in better light today so his true colours will come out. Do pastels ever have "cheerios"? He has a few between cyclops alian heads. So to me there has to be mojave in there but mayhaps he's a double that got forgotten about.

It looks just like a Low end pastel to me. It has all the right traits for pastel and just none for mojo.
I know what it's like to be vending at shows it gets hectic. Any possibility there was a miscommunication?

I only see Pastel in this boy. The coloring is weird but there's nothing about him that would make me think Mojo. If I were to see him at a show the colors would defiantly make me stop to take a look though. I honestly like the greys coming off his head.

This is a Mojave Female I just picked up at the Hamburg Show this past Saturday.

this is what i was thinking lol. maybe the breeder bred a pastel x mojave.. thought that was a low Q mojo, and sold it, not realizing it was a low Q pastave ....

that's my guess anyways. maybe get in touch with the breeder. perhaps the pastel or mojave clutchmates can reveal the kind of quality being produced in either morph?

    Re: mojave?

He had a brother of this animal right beside him that looked more mojave than he does (like with less spots and such) but the colors were very simmeler. I picked this one because it looked odd. Also the head wasn't as faded on the other one. To me my snake has the head of almost a super pastel its so light. I'm interested to see what a few more sheads will do to him.

    Re: mojave?

Ok. I am the girlfriend of the OP, with a much better camera. I took some pics of him in natural light by the window (didn't want to take him outside in this freezing weather!!). Not sure myself what he is supposed to be, but honestly he's so dang cute I'd have taken him regardless!

He was squirming around like crazy so it was hard to get good angles. This first pic is as close to his natural colour as possible.
