    My New Rack System

I just finish building my new rack system im using 12 6.5qt tubs on 4 shelves and instead of using heat tape or heat mats i used 1/4 copper pipe i cut groves on the ply-wood and ran 2 pipes about an inch apart and have them all running down to a 5 1/2 with a submersible heater keeping the temp. around 90 degrees in the fish tank. I used foil tape under the tubs so that i can dispense the heat and i have a good heat of 85 degrees to the tub. will post pictures in a few.....

Hmmm that's the first time I've heard of using a water system for heating a cage. How do you have it circulating?

That's very interesting. However if the temp in the fish tank is 90 degrees its not going to be the same temp in the tubs, i would suggest upping it to at least 92-93 and then go from there so you can get your hot side around 90.

sounds very interesting, I can see where it would work but I do agree you
may need to tweak the temp of the water a bit to make sure you get the
    temps in the cages right.

Would love to see pictures as well as get updates on this once you have had it running for a while.
